About
I have been a keen photographer for as long as I can remember.
I was taken away on holiday every year by my Parents to Europe, staying in a tent in the early years via car journey, starting at Calais and then driving to Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Holland, and any other country that Mum decided she wanted to visit.
Over time I took numerous photographs, in the ice and snow up the tallest mountain in Europe, The 'Jungfrau Joch' (around 11,000 Ft) and the 'Ice Palace', just outside 'Interlaken', one of my Favourite Swiss Cities. There were many other cities visited, Rome, Venice and Pompei, all in Italy. Salzburg in Austria, and all of the places mentioned in the 'Sound of Music'.
In also had a very different Hobby, in that I followed my Mother and Father, by starting 'Ballroom and Latin American Dancing. As I progressed this Hobby, I was able to join the ‘Peggy Spencer’ Penge Latin American Formation team.
ThisTeam dance at the Closen Competitions held at the Blackpool Tower and then having been placed in the top two teams we were invited toi represent Engalnd at the World and European Formation Competitions held in Germany and europe.
I never left my camera at home, having migrated from Film, (Analogue} photographs to Digital Photographs. Using compact and SLR cameras, and a range of manufacturers, 'Ricoh' Pentax and Canon.
