Onyx offerings

Tonight we had the inaugural outing of the Springfield Camera Club Quiz team.

playing in the Rotary club quiz night at Writtle, our name was on everyone’s lips as we held off all the other teams till after the break. Alas, our downfall came with the marathon events where we conceded five points and our music and tv left a little to be desired and we eventually finished in fifth, six and a half points off the top.

Still it was nice to be out, socialising without cameras for a change so thanks to Noel n Helen, Colin n Debs, Veronica, our ringers, Helen’s Mum n Dad and of course, my better half, who made sure that we could our heads high, and remember, that balloon stating that were #1 was on our table for over half the evening.
